About

Turning 30 has snuck up on me. And, as it turned out, on a lot of my girlfriends too. And yes, maybe we’re yet to win a Nobel Peace prize, marry Brad Pitt or win Olympic Gold. But who says we can’t kick butt in the process?

This story is not so much about size 6, even though it happens to be my lucky size, but about learning to enjoy a happy and healthy life without harming ourselves too much, about finding balance and learning to see humor in simple things. It’s about enjoying food as one of life’s main ingredients and its power to connect, comfort and inspire – all while staying size 6.

As a writer based in Las Vegas, I tend to think with my hands. You can find my day-time work at www.annahuddleston.com.

P.S. This blog would not be possible without the unwavering support of my wonderful husband B., who always inspires me to reach higher.

About the picture

These gals are my inspiration and friends in real life. They will never be size 6 because they won’t get past size 4… They run their own businesses and work for world-famous brands, go on insane road trips, cry through meltdowns and feed everyone around. They can build Rome in a day a nightclub in 24 hours and throw a party that lands them on the news. And they will bring you chicken soup when you are hungover dying. When I write, I think about them and making them smile.

Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment…I couldn’t find your email, so I hope you don’t mind me posting here. Yes! I do think that this bread would work great with a reduced amount of sugar. I would say you could easily go down to 1/2 or maybe even 1/3 cup. I’ve also made this with WW flour and had wonderful success. Let me know how it goes!
